I was born in El Salvador but raised in Chicago since the age of 4. I attended Lane Tech High School and after taking 4 years of architectural drafting pursued a career in architecture. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Architectural Studies at UIC and worked in the field as a junior architect for about 6 years.
In the summer of 2010 I made a career change and went through the AUSL Teacher Training program. I obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching and was beyond fortunate to have been mentored by Mrs. Robaczewski for a year. And my luck continued as I have been at TCA ever since!
When I'm not teaching, I am enjoying the company of my husband and 2 sons!
